The Return of the Divine Mother

Something happened at the Dying to Live retreat that I haven’t quite put into words until now.

She came.

Not the “divine feminine,” not the “divine masculine.” But the Divine Mother—the presence that holds both. That is both.

She is fierce and she is tender.

She is the one who knows when to nourish and when to destroy.

She is Balance in action.

She is the holy center we’ve been aching for in a world that has lost its way.

The five women who showed up to this retreat didn’t come to “find themselves.”

They came to shed.

To drop the false layers.

To burn the masks.

To remember what is real.

And when they did—She moved through them.

She danced in their tears, their screams, their silence.

She cracked them open so the world could see:

This is what wholeness looks like.

Messy. Glorious. Sacred. Free.

They were honored in their All-ness.

Their anger. Their joy. Their grief. Their radiance.

Nothing turned away.

Nothing too much.

This is the Divine Mother.

And this is what She demands.

Look at our world right now.

Can you see it?

Everything that is not Her is being made visible.

War. Exploitation. Performative power.

Men acting from unhealed wounds.

Women betraying each other to stay close to the systems that harm us all.

The theater of control collapsing in real time.

It’s not chaos.

It’s truth revealed.

So that we—Her people—can become awake and activated.

So that we can feel the yearning for Her.

So that we can call Her back into leadership.

She is not some abstract energy.

She is intimacy in action.

And She will no longer be contained.

Even as a facilitator, I had my moment.

In the silence, in the weight of what Jeanne and I were holding, I collapsed.

I felt the full gravity of the responsibility I carry—to ground these energies,

to make them tangible,

to steward the sacred.

In that moment, I realized:

I had become the intimacy I once feared.

Not in theory.

In form.

In flesh.

Here is what came through me during that silence:

"The energies are insistent, powerful and very deep. Can you feel the weight of them? They are calling you all the way home to yourself. So that you can rise – as Her, as You, as God. Will you answer the call?

In order to go this deep you must let go. You must drop everything that is false – to reach what is true. You are no longer allowed to carry what was never yours to begin with. Playing small, shame, self-punishment, judgment, containment, withholding and self-sabotage.

Because you are magnificent.

Anything that masks that – hides that – shields that – CONTAINS THAT – is DONE.

Go all the way. Remember who you are."

She is here.

And She is asking each of us to rise.

Not with force.

But with remembrance.

Let the Divine Mother awaken in you—not as a myth,

but as a living force.

Nurturing and fierce.

Soft and unyielding.

Joyful. Whole.

Uncontainable.

Let’s become the balance we seek.

Let’s return Her to the center.

Let’s go all the way home.

With thoughtful intention,

Kate
